Position Overview: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for directing and overseeing the financial strategy, planning, and management of the organization. This includes providing strategic recommendations to the CEO, managing financial forecasting, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory financial standards. The CFO plays a key leadership role in driving the company’s growth and long-term financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Strategy and Leadership
    • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals.
    • Provide leadership, direction, and management to the finance and accounting teams.
    • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team on financial matters.
  2. Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
    • Analyze and report on financial performance, including trends, variances, and risks.
    • Provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.
  3. Capital Structure and Investment
    • Lead capital-raising efforts and investor relations as needed.
    • Manage treasury operations, including cash flow and investment strategies.
  4. Risk Management and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
    • Oversee internal controls and risk management processes.
    • Collaborate with external auditors, legal teams, and regulatory bodies.
  5. Operational and Financial Efficiency
    • Drive financial process improvement and cost management initiatives.
    • Optimize the company’s financial systems, policies, and procedures.
  6. Reporting
    • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for stakeholders.
    • Present financial performance and strategy updates to the Board of Directors.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in senior financial leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate financial law, accounting principles, and risk management.
  • Proven success in strategic financial planning and execution.
  • Experience managing investor relations and capital markets.
