About the Role
Our client, a leading stucco and exterior finishes contractor, is seeking an experienced Lath, Plaster, and EIFS Estimator to join our Bay Area team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of lath, plaster, and EIFS systems, strong estimating skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids and reviews in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate estimates for One-Coat, Two-Coat, Three-Coat, and EIFS systems.
- Evaluate and quantify scaffold requirements for each project.
- Conduct digital takeoffs using software such as Bluebeam.
- Perform constructability reviews and identify potential scope gaps or conflicts.
- Review and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and addenda.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, budgets, and proposals for submission to general contractors.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of ASTM standards, weather barrier systems, and submittal processes.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with general contractors and project stakeholders.
- Stay organized and meet tight deadlines while managing multiple bids simultaneously.
- Support company growth through accurate estimating and strong industry relationships.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years estimating experience in the lath and plaster industry (Bay Area experience strongly preferred).
- Current commercial relationships with existing general contractors and developers who will award you immediate work
- Proficient with Bluebeam or other digital takeoff software.
- In-depth knowledge of all exterior weather barrier systems.
- Strong understanding of ASTM standards and industry regulations.
- Experience in scaffold estimation and constructability review.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Experience with submittal documentation and proposal generation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $110,000 – $160,000annually (based on experience)
